My Baby Girl!!!!!! There has been a BLACK PRESIDENT in her short life time. She will never know or believe that at a time in the world this wasn't possible. This is a big day in her little life. I got you ready and we headed downstairs to watch history being made. I felt like we needed to watch this moment on the big screen. I wanted us to fell as if we were there. I wish your Dad was here to share this moment with us. I love him dearly he is the ROCK of this FAMILY! We will raise you to always believe you can do, be and have anything your heart desires and YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH!

This Morning

I woke up in a hast thinking I had missed the most IMPORTANT INAUGURATION OF MY LIFE! I Showered and as I did so I decided to wash away all the bad things of the past. I let go of not being good enough and decided to embrace change. I Vow to be a better Wife, Mother, Child, Student, Educator, American and a better HUMAN BEING!

Better then I expected

Met with the PSI lady today (Brenda) and she was son wonderful. We had and great conversation. It sounds kind of weird but we connected. As Mothers, as Wives, as Parents and as Minority women. We talked about Vonte, Same, our issues with Doctors, our financial situation, me going back to work, daycare, the case/ Maurice of course and so much more. She promised to get back with me with information on some community programs. I truly enjoyed our time together and for the first time I had HOPE!

Tis the season

The Princess and I have been battling a cold since Monday. Thursday was the turning point. I am so glad it's almost over.

Today I went out for the First time since Sunday. Went to the store and my mom's. I was simply going to the store to drop off my prescription. While I was waiting I went to the book section and saw so many magazines and books on Obama. I was so excited, I bought 3. 1 Ebony magazine with him and his wife on the cover (beautiful) the second one was a hard back book done by TIME magazine and the third was an Amazing Collectors book with all kinds of memorabilia in selves and attached to the pages. The Photographs were absolutely gorgeous, perfect, just a true work of art. I only wish the day would come where he could sign it...... I am totally enamored by him and his accomplishment.




All I can say is CHANGE!!!!

New Year

2008....... what can I say but.....GLAD THAT SH!TS OVER!!!!!!! WHEW It had its ups ans it's way DOWNS..lol but we all made it out ALIVE and i am grateful....
Now 2009 is here and i and praying for more ups then downs. I guess u have to go through the downs to truly appreciate the high flying times.
